Our legal system of our country is very much like our body's immune system.  The immune system's original intent was to provide protection against such things as viruses, bacteria and other foreign proteins - using the concept of "self" versus "non-self."  The legal system's original intent was to provide public safety to the cells of the body of America.

In the body of the United States of America, there are cells that decide to "do their own thing", such as cancer cells.  Or foreign substances that can create harm for the organism.  Rightfully, these cells need to be captured and engulfed for the good of the organism.  Without this process we would not survive for a long period of time.

However, when the immune system becomes HYPER-vigilant,  when it overreacts to these and other innocuous things that we are exposed to on a daily basis due to fear, we develop allergies.  This hyper-vigilance results in a loss of energy within the system (entropy) and a diminished functioning immune system.

As the energy in the immune system diminishes,  we become susceptible to AUTO-immune diseases, where the immune system begins attacking healthy cells and structures as "collateral damage."  Some of these structures are vital and eventually, once destroyed, will result in the death of the organism.

Our country has now progressed to that state of existence in which we have developed an auto-immune disease.  The legal/immune system has been attacking the members of the American body by incarcerating it's people for long periods of time for relatively minor sins such as drug usage.

What we are seeing take place in regard to our civil rights now is the auto-immune disease process this has resulted in.  In an effort to destroy the non-self invaders, it has now begun destroying our civil liberties and this auto-immune process will eventually destroy this country as we know it.
